Egnatia is Greek Group of Companies providing end to end services in the technical field. It was founded in 1989 by the families of Papapetrou and Nikolaidis and is set to meet the needs of the construction-technology society as well as the needs of the industry.
Egnatia Group is present in more than 8 countries and consists of more than 9 companies with various business directions.
The group outnumbers more than 500 and is consisted of high skilled personnel with advanced educational profile. The objective of the Egnatia Group is to engage efficiently , responsibly and responsibly complete services and to participate in the development of products and services involving the latest technology achievements.

Mrs. Papapetrou was born in 1956 in Thessaloniki city and did her basic education in the same city. She has graduated as civil engineer in 1977 from Aristotele University in Thessaloniki and stared ever since to develop structural designs, studies and constructions along with contractors.
She is married since 1978 and has 2 children both of which are civil engineers possessing key roles on the group.
Mr George Chochlakis holds a Civil engineering infrastructure degree from Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, 1998.
He worked as a freelancer working with companies to design, supervision and construction of private and public works until 2005, when he began working with the Egnatia Group initially as an engineer of buildings project and further in Project Management.
Since 2009 he has been involved in the energy and telecommunication sectors.
Charalampos Christanas is a graduate of the Aristotelio University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), as Electrical Engineer – Telecommunication section. Prior to joining Egnatia TEL he was a researcher at AUTH. Today he is responsible Engineer for the implementation-management of the following projects:
Installation-Activation of telecommunication base stations 2G-3G-LTE, MW links, automation systems for telecommunication base stations, power systems, ADSL equipment.
Mr. Marios Diplas joined Egnatia’s Group management team in 2004 undertaking the expansion plan actions of the Group in Bulgaria and from 2014 he serves also as CEO of Egnatia Macedonia. He has extensive experience in telecommunications, renewable energy and buildings sectors into which he achieved to introduce and establish Egnatia Bulgaria as one of the main local and regional market players.
Mr Diplas holds an MSc in Architecture from the University of Architecture Civil Engineering and Geodesy of Sofia – Bulgaria and he speaks fluent Greek, English and Bulgarian.
Mr Nikos Kontakos holds a Dimploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from A.U.T.H., and an MSC in Microwaves & Optoelectronics from U.C.L..
He is working in Egnatia TEL since 2003 and has been holding the following positions: field, supervisor and technical support engineer, project, account and country manager in various projects and countries.
His interests are in the area of mobile and fixed telephony, networks and technologies.
Mr Ioannis Kontinos is a graduate of the Università degli Studi di Napoli 'Parthenope' as a mechanical engineer.
He is working to Egnatia Group of Companies since 1997 and he is General Technical Coordinator of the following projects: Construction of Telecommunication base stations, BSC and MSC Telecom buildings of several mobile operators.
Is a graduate in Information Engineering of the University of Milan Italy and joined Egnatia Group in 2001 as technical responsible in the new automated steel manufacturing unit of Egnatia Aettek. In 2005 Joined Egnatia Tel as telecom filed engineer for installation and activation of 2G-3G-MW base stations in Greece and Bulgaria.
From 2008 up to 2011 has been quality and procurement manager of Egnatia Tel. From 2011 he is the CEO of Egnatia Aettek steel structures.
Mr. Zacharias Semertzidis is a graduate of the Department of Forestry of Larissa Institute of Technology, 1993.
He is working to Egnatia Group of Companies since 1995 and he has been responsible supervisor for the implementation and management of the following projects: Construction of Telecommunication base stations, BSC and MSC Telecom buildings of several mobile operators. (TELESTET_GR, COSMOTE_GR, WIND_GR, COSMOFON_FYROM and AMC_AL).
Since 2008 is the General Manager of EGNATIA O. ALBANIA Company.
From the year of its foundation till today, Egnatia Group has grown considerably in both capabilities and experience, expanding its operation to many new promising markets.
